Expression Part 1



What is Expression? 

    Expression or English expressions are things that are often expressed in everyday conversation.  Both when we are at the bank, hospital, in the office, and ask for opinions, apologize and in other conditions.


COMMON EXPRESSION IN ENGLISH 

1. English expression when apologizing

 Everyone must have done something wrong.  Therefore we need to apologize.  The following are a number of expressions or statements in English that can be used to apologize.
  •  I'm so sorry.  = I'm sorry
 There is the word 'so' to reinforce our apologies.
  •  Pardon (me) = I'm sorry.
 This phrase is brief but enough to acknowledge that you are truly sincere.
  •  That's my fault.  = That's my mistake.
 The phrase in English shows that we are ready to take responsibility for what happens.
  •  Sorry  It was all my fault.  = Sorry.  All that is my fault.
 There is the addition of the word "Sorry" at the beginning of the sentence to emphasize your apology.
  •  Please accept our apologies.  = Please accept my apologies.

2. An expression or expression to ask someone's situation in English

 When you meet someone, it is common for you to ask how about the situation or condition.  There are many sentences that you can use to ask that question.  Here are some of them.
  •   How are you  = What's up?
 This is an expression that is often used whenever meeting someone else to ask about someone's news or situation.
  •  How are things?  = What's up?
 This is a more questioning expression about your health and life.  so your answer can also be about how your health, employment, and personal life.
  •  How have you been?  = How are you feeling?
 This question is the same as "how are you?"  and you can answer it to preach about your health and current life.
  •   How have you been keeping?  = How are you feeling?
 This question also has the same meaning as "how are you?".  It's just more formal nature.  But it's still comfortable when used to talk with friends.
  •   Alright?  = Good right?  This question is brief and informal.  You can answer it with "yes" or "no".    

3. Offering Service / Help

 Offering Service / Help is used to offer services / help to others.  (Offering Service / Help is used to offer services or assistance to others.)
  •  What can I do for you?
  •   Can I help you?
  •   Can I do something for you?
  •   Do you want something to eat?
  •   Shall I get you something to read?
